Who We AreOur mission is to create a place where people are encouraged to live out their deepest aspirations - as individuals and in groups.
We work with:
- people who are seeking growth, providing opportunities for personal, spiritual and social growth.
- people who are in the midst of significant life changes, providing a structure of support and accountability during transition.
- people who want to make a difference in the world, providing help to make their dreams a reality.
We believe that:
- There's a great big "I" in community.
Community is a place that provides individuals an environment of support and accountability in which to live out their unique life calling.
- But it takes a "U" to spell it right.
Community is a place where individuals discover that they are part of a larger picture, that we are not whole without the gifts of others, including those who are different from us.
Our methodology is derived from diverse traditions, including Christian theology, Native American practices, Jungian psychology, Quakerism and South African tribal culture. Our approach emphasizes a non-judgmental acceptance of others' differences. We welcome participants from all races, backgrounds and beliefs.
Our organization is a sub-chapter S for-profit corporation founded in 1997 by Beth Williams and Margaret Morgan Maat.
