First Friday

On the first Friday of each month, the community gathers for food, fellowship and celebration. This is a great time to meet new people and "catch up" with old friends.

Les Chapeaux Beaux
A Cranford Chapter of The Red Hat Society

This national organization is for women who have decided to greet middle age with verve, humor, and elan. The society was Inspired by the lines of a poem by Jenny Joseph:

"When I am an old woman...
I shall wear purple...
With a red hat
which doesn't go,
and doesn't suit me..."

This group usually meets the 2nd Tuesday of the month at at 5:30 pm. For the upcoming date, click here for the current newsletter.

Women of all ages are welcome, but those who are under 50 must wear a pink hat instead of a red one.
